Symphony Space and Ready Set Jet Announce Partnership to Advance Human Resilience Research on Orbital Infrastructure

min read

October 5, 2026 — Symphony Space, a deep-tech space infrastructure company, and Ready Set Jet, a dual-use human resilience and biotechnology platform, today announced a strategic partnership to advance research into skin resilience, repair and wound care in the orbital environment. The announcement is being made as the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026), takes place this week at the NEST Convention Centre in Antalya, Türkiye, under the theme "The World Needs More Space."

Under the partnership, the two companies will work together to define a flight pathway for Ready Set Jet's Repair and Defend technology aboard Adagio, Symphony Space's fleet of modular autonomous orbital platforms delivering Space-as-a-Service. The collaboration is intended to give Ready Set Jet repeatable, infrastructure-grade access to microgravity for controlled scientific validation, and to demonstrate how Adagio can host commercial life-science and human-performance payloads at scale.

Symphony Space has a booked demonstration mission, PRELUDE DEMO-1, targeted for April 2028 from Cape Canaveral, Florida. The two companies will jointly evaluate PRELUDE DEMO-1 and subsequent Adagio missions as candidate flight opportunities for Ready Set Jet research payloads.

“One of our primary drivers for founding Symphony Space was to enable leaps in innovation that benefit humanity. Our partnership with Ready Set Jet is an exemplification of our commitment to this mission. We are grateful for the opportunity to support their discoveries.” Says Merry Walker, Co-Founder and CEO of Symphony Space.

“Ready Set Jet was built on the belief that the most extreme environments can teach us how to better protect, repair and support the human body,” said Shalini Vadhera, Founder and CEO of Ready Set Jet. “Our partnership with Symphony Space creates a pathway to move beyond a single historic mission and explore repeatable orbital research, validation and commercialization. Together, we aim to translate discoveries made in space into human resilience technologies that improve life on Earth and support the future of human spaceflight.” Explained Shalini Vadhera, Founder and CEO.

Ready Set Jet's technologies were validated aboard the Axiom-4 mission to the International Space Station, and the company's validation framework extends beyond orbit through Mars analog and Arctic polar missions, guided by its multidisciplinary Astronaut & Global Advisory Council ("AGAC"). The partnership announced today is intended to extend that framework onto persistent orbital infrastructure, where longer-duration and repeatable experiment campaigns become possible.
